Product Description
RXSOL Biphenyl (RXSOL-45-4502-025) is a high-purity aromatic hydrocarbon used as a component in high-temperature organic heat transfer fluid systems (such as Dowtherm A / Therminol VP-1 equivalents) which operate at temperatures up to 400°C. It is also used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and liquid crystal polymers. Biphenyl has fungicidal properties and is used as a fruit preservative in some applications. Available in 25 kg bags.
